Challenge
Disney Cruise Line engaged RWS Entertainment Group to become the turn-key resource provider to assist them in bringing the magic of the high seas to life. As the installers of Halloween on the High Seas and A Very Merrytime Cruise, RWS would be responsible for orchestrating a quality installation that would meet onboard regulations and be non-evasive to the guest embarkation schedule. The true test would be the changeover from Halloween to Holiday, where RWS would use their expertise to transition seamlessly from one to the other.
Strategy
As the largest operator of cruise ship entertainment experiences, RWS would rely on its operational knowledge to collaborate with Disney on a successful transport, receiving and onboarding installation from start to finish. RWS teamed up with the Disney land and sea experts to ensure everything would be executed on time and with ease. A skilled team of technicians and artisans would be assembled to ensure the high standards of Disney’s experiences were met. In addition, RWS would extend their operational expertise success at sea and also install and strike these experiences with ease on land at Disney’s own private island, Castaway Cay.
Results
RWS’ team of skilled artisans and technicians would prove to be the perfect partner for the installation and strike of the seasonal experiences. RWS was able to navigate the flexibility of scheduling onboard, react to quick changes, keep safety at its highest standards and remain on time and within budget for a successful installation.
