Challenge
During the holiday season, The Galleria Al Maryah Island wanted to create a holiday experience that would wow their guests and also provide safety measures to adhere to COVID-19 compliant regulations. With proven success in creating unique Santa experiences, The Galleria Al Maryah Island looked to RWS to create a socially distanced holiday experience.
Strategy
RWS looked to the one place every child wants to sit — Santa’s sleigh. In creating this instagrammable photo opportunity, Santa’s sleigh puts kids in the drivers seat so they could help Santa deliver presents to all of their friends and family. RWS designed a sleigh experience that was the picture perfect moment, while maintaining all COVID-19 distant guidelines and creating a special one-on-one experience with Santa himself.
Results
The results were a winter wonderful success. Reservations quickly filled up, always having Santa check his list twice for meet and greet openings. This socially distanced experience was a perfect complement to the Winter Village, where guests enjoyed extraordinary seasonal décor, sparkling lights and festive sensory rooms full of gingerbread and candy cane delights. Santa at The Galleria was truly magical place where festive joy happened all season long.
